Vice Minister Hoang of Ministry of Industry and Trade Hoang Quoc Vuong and Ambassador Paul Jansen had the meeting on December 14th, focused on discussing renewable energy and the conversion methods from thermal power to cleaner energy sources.
Vice Minister Hoang Quoc Vuong shared the many difficulties that Vietnam is facing in its progress of converting to green energy while meeting the country’s power demand, but Vietnam has also been focusing on using hydropower plants to generate power. Ambassador Jansen expressed that Belgium is willing to provide expertise and human resources to assist Vietnam in using more renewable energy sources for its nationwide power supply.
