People & Vessels.
These are the driving forces behind Jan De Nul Group. Thanks to its skilled employees and ultramodern fleet, Jan De Nul Group ranks at the top of the international dredging industry as well as being one of the largest civil engineering and environmental contractors.Jan De Nul Group executes dredging and reclamation projects from start to finish: capital dredging and maintenance works in ports, deepening of channels, rock or sand bank dredging in open sea, specialized dredging services for the offshore industry, beach replenishment, rock revetment, etc. Thanks to a resolute investment policy in its own equipment, the dredging vessels of Jan De Nul Group are the world’s most modern and diverse fleet. Civil works are also an important part of the Group activities. All key activities, from design to execution, are carried out by its own engineers and equipment, whether it concerns buildings, wastewater treatment plants, sewerage or pipe works, quay walls, tunnels, bridges, roads, locks or gravity based foundations for offshore wind turbines. Through its environmental subsidiary Envisan, the Group is experienced in all fields of environmental technology: soil and groundwater rehabilitation, remediation of polluted soils and environmental dredging, processing of waste and alternative raw materials.
The supporting services of the dredging, civil and environmental division enable Jan De Nul Group to perform large-scale projects to its clients’ satisfaction, whether this concerns a Palm Island in Dubai, an oil sludge treatment plant in Romania or the construction of the new locks for the Panama Canal.
Since early 2011, Jan De Nul Group is also part of the Iron / Steel Complex and Son Duong Port Contract in the central province of Ha Tinh, the largest foreign direct investment project ever licensed in Vietnam so far.
