
LUNCHEON : MEETING WITH BIO’S REPRESENTATIVES (BELGIAN INVESTMENT COMPANY FOR DEVELOPING COUNTRIES)
On June 14th 2019, the Embassy of Belgium, and the Solvay School of Economics & Management, in collaboration with Beluxcham Vietnam, organized a luncheon with representatives from BIO (Belgian Investment Company for Developing countries). The luncheon concluded successfully with participants being briefed about BIO, its activities around the world, and especially in Vietnam. BIO, since its establishment in 2001, has dedicated itself to the mission of supporting a robust private sector in emerging countries. By helping private enterprises gain access to funding, BIO has enabled these enterprises achieve growth and sustainable development following the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals. In recent years, more than ever, BIO has become more involved in Vietnam. Their presence here will provide a great opportunities for private businesses in Vietnam to further flourish in the future.
