[BELGIUM] LUTOSA – POTATO EUROPE FAIR

One of our member, Lutosa, will be attending the Potato Europe fair this coming 4th and 5th of September. If you are interested in this product or if you simply want to expand your network this event can be a great opportunity to do so!

2019 Edition of Potatoeurope

PotatoEurope always takes place in one of the four main countries for potato cultivation in a 4-year cycle. After France, the Netherlands and Germany over the past three years, Belgium is once again hosting this biggest open air potato event in 2019.

Representatives from the entire potato supply chain will again be visiting Kain, near Tournai, on 4 and 5 September 2019. Professionals from the sector will be able to consult with experts in the field of cultivation, materials, processing, etc.

Last week, one of our members, Solvay Business School has organised a great event for the Solvay community in the form of a business talk by prof. Pascal on the topic of “Scenario Planning – the art of preparing for an Unknown Future”.

FDI EXCURSION TOUR: DEEP C INDUSTRIAL ZONES & DAMEN SONG CAM SHIPYARD

Last week, the EuroCham Vietnam’s FDI Excursion tour brought a delegation of more than 20 members to DEEP C Industrial Zones Vietnam to explore where we are after 20-year journey in Vietnam and how we’re reaching new horizons to sustainable growth. As an EU originated group, DEEP C is excited to get more European peers on board with us.

Many said site visit was the most informative and fun part of the whole tour. Visitors were taken to see with their own eyes the completed infrastructure in DEEP C I, dynamic factory construction going on in DEEP C II and the developing DEEP C III dedicated for logistics complex and automotive industry. We hope that all guests enjoyed their time with us and left the tour with all their questions answered.

[HCM & HA NOI] SOLVAY BUSINESS TALK: “MANAGING YOUR CAREER TO REACH YOUR FULLFILMENT IN LIFE”

On Sunday the 14th of July, Solvay Business School has successfully organised a business talk with the following topic: “Managing your career to reach your fullfilment in life”. The event featured a total of five amazing guest speakers (Ms. Kim Anh, Ms. Thu Ngan, Mr. Thanh Son, Dr. Toan Trung and Prof. Michel Alle) who shared thoughtful stories with the audience.

Then, on 18th of July, Solvay Brussel Business School held its 2nd series of business talk on “Managing your career to reach your fulfillment in life” in Hanoi, after the first successful one in Ho Chi Minh City.

The second event featured three inspiring guest speakers who are alumni of Solvay from different intakes and who possess various experiences to join with the Dean of Solvay School – Prof Michel Allé and our Scientific Director, Dr Trung Dinh. The event was an occasion for more than 60 alumni, students, friends and colleagues of Solvay Network to get together in warm & friendship atmosphere.
