Let’s join with BeluxCham in visiting the Mekong River Delta and learn about the support programs to improve people’s lives of Mekong Plus through a two-day bamboo bike tour.

What you can get from this tour:

– Try the Mekong plus bamboo bikes on the rural road in Mekong Delta.

– Explore the normal life of the poor villagers in the Mekong delta

Program:

04 May: bike 30km

7:30-12:30: Meet at Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon, (01, Công xã Paris, Ben Nghe, District 1, HCMC) – transport by private coach to Long My, Hau Giang.

Then have lunch at Anh Duong office. Then choose the bike to visit Anh Duong project at 2:00 pm

– Visit poor households raising fish

– Visit the family installing the biogas system

– Visit poor households raising chicken

05 May: bike 30km

 In the early morning, at 5 am, visitors will take the bus to visit Nga Nam floating market. Then come back to the office and continue to bike to visit Anh Duong projects at 8 am. We will visit some activities as follow:

– Visit poor households raising ducks 

– Visit the concrete bridge and road supported by Anh Duong

– Visit poor households raising eels 

– Visit the poor household growing vegetables

– Visit a poor family that Anh Duong support building house

Then come back to Anh Duong office to have lunch and back to HCMC at 1:30 pm

• Hieu Do, CFA, Head of Real Estate at VinaCapital. Hieu has more than 12 years of working experience in the investment field. Mr. Hieu is currently leading the real estate investment arm of VinaCapital. Prior to that, he held the role of Financial Advisory Director of Deloitte Vietnam and led over 30 M&A deals spanning across multiple industries, including retail, real estate, manufacturing, logistics and financial services. He also worked at Vingroup as a Head of Mergers and Acquisitions, managing USD4bn assets in residential, retail, hospitality, healthcare and education. Before joining Vingroup, he also served as Investment Manager of Vinaland.
• Neil MacGregor, Managing Director at Savills. Neil is the Managing Director of Savills Vietnam and has been with the company for the last 17 years. Leading the investment team in Vietnam, Neil has completed some of the largest investment transactions in the country. Prior to moving to Vietnam, Neil was trained and qualified as a real estate specialist in London, gaining extensive experience in property valuation and investment.
