Beluxcham Mekong Delta Bamboo Biking Tours For Charity

Dear Members & Friends

Let’s join with BeluxCham in visiting the Mekong River Delta and learn about the support programs to improve people’s lives of Mekong Plus through a two-day bamboo bike tour.

What you can get from this tour:

– Try the Mekong plus bamboo bikes on the rural road in Mekong Delta.

– Try the local food and culture of local people in the Mekong delta

– Explore the normal life of the poor villagers in the Mekong delta

– Try to go over the bamboo bridge (Monkey bridge)

  • Participate fee:2,8M/person (including transportation, tour guide, bicycle rental, 4 meals and 1 night at a local hotel)
  • For each participant, a donation of ₫ 1,3M (included in the ticket price) will fund to Mekong Plus for educational and agricultural projects for the locals in need.
  • For each BeluxCham member joining the trip, BeluxCham will match the donation amount with VND 1,3M during the trip

04 May: bike 30km

7:30-12:30: Meet at Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon, (01, Công xã Paris, Ben Nghe, District 1, HCMC) – transport by private coach to Long My, Hau Giang.

Then have lunch at Anh Duong office. Then choose the bike to visit Anh Duong project at 2:00 pm

– Visit poor households raising fish

– Visit the family installing the biogas system

– Visit poor households raising chicken

05 May: bike 30km

 In the early morning, at 5 am, visitors will take the bus to visit Nga Nam floating market. Then come back to the office and continue to bike to visit Anh Duong projects at 8 am. We will visit some activities as follow:

– Visit poor households raising ducks 

– Visit the concrete bridge and road supported by Anh Duong

– Visit poor households raising eels 

– Visit the poor household growing vegetables

– Visit a poor family that Anh Duong support building house

Then come back to Anh Duong office to have lunch and back to HCMC at 1:30 pm

  • Neil MacGregor, Managing Director at Savills. Neil is the Managing Director of Savills Vietnam and has been with the company for the last 17 years. CanCham Charity Golf Tournament – Swing to Help Change the Lives of Ethnic Minority Girls with Brighter Path

CanCham’s 15th Annual CSR Golf Open is coming! Are you ready for another great golf experience on Friday, May 13th at Dong Nai Golf Resort?

Held by VinaCapital and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Vietnam, this novelty 18-hole golf tournament will allow golfers to all have a fun day of 4-ball scramble golf together on the course with lots of great food, drinks, and prizes. The players can both register by team or individually. If you register individually, the tournament committee will put you on a team. Complimentary bus transportation is available from Vinhomes Golden River to the golf course and back.

💡 Especially, all profits raised from the CSR Golf Open event will be contributed to VinaCapital Foundation’s Brighter Path program. Brighter Path Program is designed to reduce poverty in Vietnam where it is endemic by empowering bright disadvantaged rural ethnic minority girls through education and training. Since 2021, through the CanCham CSR Golf Open, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Vietnam has donated 5,622 USD (equivalent to 129.099.000 VND) to the VinaCapital Foundation’s Brighter Path Program, to provide scholarships to ethnic minority students in the school year of 2020-2021.
