BeluxCham joined the Meet Europe 2021: EU-Vietnam Partnership Post-COVID and Whitebook Launch event

On 27 October 2021, Mr. Ludo Drijbooms – BeluxCham Vice Chairman in Ha Noi represented the BeluxCham Board Members to attend the Meet Europe 2021: EU-Vietnam Partnership Post-COVID and Whitebook Launch event which was organized by EuroCham Vietnam and the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT)
The event brought together more than 150 political and business leaders to discuss how government and the private sector can work together to boost EU-Vietnam trade and investment in the post-pandemic new normal.


The event also saw the official launch of the 2021 EuroCham Whitebook. Now in its 13th edition, the annual publication brings together the insights and ideas of EuroCham’s more than 1,200 members. Read the news at: https://www.eurochamvn.org/node/18946

BeluxCham joined Voka International Business Week: ASEAN Region

On 26 November 2021, Mr. Bart Verheyen – BeluxCham Chairman represented the BeluxCham Board Members to attend the International Business Week: ASEAN Region which was organized by Voka – Flanders’ Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

The seminar was to exchange ideas with speakers and Ambassadors from the ten ASEAN countries, receive practical tips from the representatives of Flanders Investment and Trade (FIT) and Credendo. Moreover, a number of experienced Flemish entrepreneurs also explained how best to start up and further develop business contacts.

Becamex become the EuroCham champions of the Best INITIATIVE to support Vietnam during the 4th wave of COVID-19

We are pleased to announce that Becamex – our BeluxCham members – has become the EuroCham champions of the Best INITIATIVE to support Vietnam during the 4th wave of COVID-19.
On 3rd December 2021, EuroCham organized a European Night – Business Resilience Awards 2021 to recognize the resilience of our members during COVID-19 and look forward to 2022 with optimism now that the pandemic is being brought under control.
The event also recognised the best of European business in EuroCham’s fourth-annual business awards to award on green and sustainable business, celebrate the resilience and the companies who have supported Vietnam and their workers during COVID-19.
We congratulate and thank Becamex for their great contribution to helping Covid-19 patients and workers Binh Duong province who faced difficulty during the Covid past 4th wave.
Besides, in this event, two other members of BeluxCham, Puratos and Ezland, were also recognized and awarded Breathe Again – Brain Child Award by EuroCham for their contributions in founding and leading the Breath Again fund campaign.
The Breath Again Foundation has had a great impact and contribution to society, until now, the campaign has raised 851,571 euros to buy medical equipment and supplies for hospitals in the regions hardest hit by Covid- 19 of Vietnam.

BeluxCham Vietnam signed a MOU with BLCC Collective in Asia

BeluxCham Vietnam entered a new partnership with Belgium – Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (BLCC) Collective in Asia through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). 

 

On the 1st of November 2021, Mr. Bart Verheyen – Chairman of BeluxCham Vietnam signed an MoU between BLCC in Asia including the BLCC of Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and The Belgian Vietnamese Alliance, The Benelux Chamber of Commerce in China (Shanghai Chapter), The Belgian-Filipino Business Club, The Belgian Korean Business Forum, The European Chambers of Cambodia, Myanmar, The Belgo-Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and The Indo-Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

 

The purpose of this MOU is to increase services offered to all Chambers’ members and enhance cooperation between all Chambers. The MOU is also towards the common goal of supporting Belgians/Luxembourg enterprises who have interest in developing business activities in the Asia market.

 

Furthermore, As part of this new partnership, the BLCC Collective in Asia will be collaborating closely on a series of activities in the coming months for the interest of Belgians/Luxembourg enterprises. These activities will be published on our website and social media. Stay tuned!
